Terms of service

The rules that apply when you order from CS3D

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with CS3D Print Studio & Design (“CS3D”, “we”, “us”). By sending us a file, requesting a quote or confirming an order, you accept them.

Nothing here removes a right you have under Cambodian law, including the Law on Consumer Protection (2019) and the Law on Electronic Commerce (2019). Where a term below conflicts with those laws, the law wins.

2. Quotes and orders

We quote before any work starts. A quote reflects the file, material, size, quantity and deadline you gave us — if any of those change, the price and the timeline change with them, and we will tell you before we continue.

An order exists only once we have confirmed it to you in writing — on Telegram, by email or in person at the studio. Until then, a quote is an offer, not a contract.

3. Prices and payment

We quote in US dollars. Every piece is made to order, so we confirm the price with you on Telegram before any work starts. Payment method and timing are agreed with you when the order is confirmed; for custom work we may ask for a deposit before printing begins.

Any delivery charge, and any tax that applies, is shown to you before you commit — never added afterwards.

4. The files and objects you send us

You keep every right you already hold in your models, drawings and objects. You confirm that you are allowed to have them printed or scanned — that they are yours, licensed to you, or otherwise free of anyone else's rights. We use them only to prepare and fulfil your order.

We will decline a job, at any stage, where we believe it would:

  • infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or design right
  • produce a weapon, a weapon component, or anything unlawful in Cambodia
  • reproduce currency, official documents, seals or identity items

5. Work we create for you

Where we model, scan or scale something for you, you receive the resulting files for the purpose you commissioned them, once the order is paid in full. We may keep a copy for our records and for reprints, and we may show the finished piece in our portfolio — tell us before the order starts if your project is confidential and we will not.

The text, photographs, layout and code of this website belong to CS3D and may not be copied without our permission.

6. What 3D printing can and cannot do

Additive manufacturing has physical limits. Visible layer lines, small dimensional variation, support marks, and slight colour differences between batches of filament or resin are normal characteristics of the process, not faults. If your part has to hold a specific tolerance, tell us the figure before we print and we will confirm whether we can meet it.

Printed parts are supplied for the use we agreed. Unless we have confirmed it to you in writing, they are not certified for medical, food-contact, aerospace, structural or other safety-critical applications.

7. Lead times, collection and delivery

Any date we give you is an estimate made in good faith. Printing is a physical process and a failed print, a material shortage or a power interruption can move it; if that happens we tell you as soon as we know.

You can collect from the studio in Russey Keo, or we can arrange delivery within Phnom Penh. Responsibility for the item passes to you when you or your courier take it.

8. Changes, cancellation and faults

Custom items are made to your specification, so once printing has started a change or cancellation may not be possible — and where material and machine time have already been spent, we may charge for them. Message us as early as you can and we will tell you honestly what can still be done.

If what you receive is faulty, damaged in our care, or does not match what we agreed, contact us and we will reprint it, repair it or refund it. This sits alongside — and does not replace — your rights under the Law on Consumer Protection.

9. Printer maintenance and repair

We service machines with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise in advance that a given fault is repairable, and diagnosis may show that a repair is not economic. We will quote before replacing parts.

Please back up your own profiles and settings before handing a machine over, and remove anything valuable that is not part of the repair.

10. Responsibility

We are responsible for loss that we cause and that could reasonably be expected. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost contracts or lost production — and, except where Cambodian law says otherwise, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the courts of Phnom Penh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Please raise any complaint with us first — most things are settled in a message. If we cannot resolve it, you may take it to the Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression Directorate-General (CCF) at the Ministry of Commerce.
